As a Web pioneer, I designed the first Web based publication in 1994. In the thirty years since, I have worked on numerous products applying creative problem solving techniques to find solutions that innovate and satisfy. I have worked with clients including WebMD, PGA Tour, Consumer Technology Association, Capital One, and Marriott International.
In addition to having written books and articles on digital media design, I am a sought after international speaker, worked with the World Wide Web Consortium to establish Web design standards, taught design at Drexel University, and serve as an advisor to the University of Richmond’s Customer Experience Program. I currently run my own digital strategy consulting agency — CranfordTeague.com — focusing on improving educational outcomes by creating digital experiences to meet students’ individual needs for learning.

My coaching, public speaking, and teaching developed from my passion for sharing my experience with others in service of helping them develop their own careers. I believe that the best coaches guide rather than dictate. I will provide feedback, insights, and even the occasional opinion, but the path you follow must be yours to decide. Unless you have agency in your own life, no amount of coaching will help.
I have more than 30 years of digital technology experience in corporate, agency, non-profit, NGO, education, and government services.

Through these roles and others, I have gained broad exposure to the possibilities of digital education and developed an extensive network across companies, agencies, nonprofits, and higher educational institutions, helping them realize their online potential. This has given him a unique vantage point from which to advise his clients at CTDS.
